WHAT IS IMPACT?
Impact is a 20-day concentrated program (split into two 10-day schools) of teaching and practical ministry experience, designed to better equip you to fulfill Jesus’ commission to bring healing to others, as well as to experience greater personal wholeness in your own life.
It is primarily designed for those who want to be further equipped to minister to people in need of the healing touch of Jesus. Often popular with pastors and leaders, this course requires a good level of Christian maturity to make the most of the concentrated teaching schedule and practical workshops.

HOW IMPACT WORKS
Through the 2 schools (20 days in total), the teaching naturally grows from the core foundations through to the practical details of how to minister effectively into a person’s life. Once the Biblical foundations are laid, the teaching explores deeper into specific topics so you can gain a fuller understanding of the healing ministry and how it all fits together. To attend the Impact B School all students must have completed Impact A or Explore A prior to attending.
Along the way there will be times of discussion, group sessions and worksheets to consolidate your learning experience and times of personal prayer ministry to allow God to work through your personal issues. Most evenings are kept free for rest, with some times of worship, fellowship and creativity times also included.

THE PROGRAM
Alongside the training, there will be times of personal ministry, where guests can apply the teaching to their own personal struggles to enable them to move forward in finding and fulfilling their calling. At Ellel Ministries Canada we run the Impact School in two parts, an A 10-day School normally scheduled for the spring, and a B 10-Day School normally scheduled for the fall.
The first part of the 10 days provides core biblical teaching on the healing ministry of Jesus. This lays an essential scriptural basis for understanding Kingdom principles relating to healing. The practical application of these principles to common problems in people’s lives is then explored. The second part of the school provides practical teaching and experience of healing ministry under the supervision of the Ellel prayer ministry team through workshops and serving on an Ellel Canada course.
DEEPER INTIMACY WITH GOD
As we explore the truth of who He is, the teaching aims to expose any distorted views of God we may hold and how they can prevent us from experiencing the deep and intimate relationship our Heavenly Father yearns to have with each one of us.
THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS
Unlocking this pivotal Kingdom principle, this course we will explore the damage caused when there is unforgiveness, judgement and bitterness in our hearts and how to face the many challenges of applying this key to the painful areas of our lives.
OVERCOMING REJECTION
Facing rejection and betrayal can cripple our hearts and minds. It pervades many aspects of our lives as we struggle with consequential fears, insecurities and relationship problems. It can break our trust and faith in others, in ourselves and even in God, leaving us feeling isolated and insecure.
EXPOSING THE SNARES OF THE ENEMY
God’s word is very clear that we live in a spiritual battle and we have a very real enemy. Satan seeks to bring destruction and distress into this world and into our lives and we are urged not to be ignorant of his devices.We need to know how we can gain freedom and victory from the enemy, something which is only possible because of Jesus’ death on the cross.
NAVIGATING DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS
If we want to find joy and freedom in healthy relationships then we need to explore how our experiences of former relationships can forge views, expectations and behaviour patterns that limit how we connect with God as well as with others.
HEALING FROM INNER HURT
Inner hurts and pain are a reality we all face and can be ignored, suppressed or even denied. Yet the legacy of the issues can linger and negatively outwork in every area of our life. Understanding how our inner being functions and can be damaged is a key to opening new doors for God’s healing work in our lives.
RESTORING THE HUMAN SPIRIT
Looking at how our human spirit encompasses our God-given identity, our creativity and the place of connection with God, this is a vital topic that can radically change how you approach dealing with the issues you face in life. With this shift of understanding, Jesus can enter into the very core and deep places of our hearts to outpour his healing, bringing true and lasting transformation of our lives.
OVERCOMING FEAR
We can develop a misconception of how God views us in our struggles and, instead of finding the Lord in our place of need, we find our own ways of coping and controlling our lives to avoid the discomfort and weakness of fear.
RESTORING OUR GOD-GIVEN IDENTITY
God alone knows the full extent of your unique identity and He longs for you to walk freely in just being ‘you’. This course explores how things have gone awry, the power of self-rejection and how truth in the inner most places is the key to discarding your false identities and finding the real you.
RENEWING OF MINDSETS, BELIEF SYSTEMS AND BEHAVIOURS
Through wrong teaching or when we have been frequently or deeply hurt, and when pressed by our carnality, we can form sinful beliefs, attitudes and prejudices concerning ourselves and the world around us.
HEALING FROM EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
Rightful expression of emotions brings God’s order in our lives whenever we find ourselves facing demanding issues (Psalm 62:8). Unfortunately, the truth for most of us is that especially in our childhood, such emotions could not always be expressed as God intended, which has left us with a painful storehouse of ’emotional magma’ ready to erupt like a volcano.
CREATIVE EXPRESSION AND HEALING
Creative expression is all around us, not just in art but in engineering, science and maths as well! Made in the image of our Creator God, we are all creative and our human spirits thrive when being able to express our inner self through creative expression.
EXPOSING THE SNARES OF THE ENEMY 2
With the enemy’s schemes exposed, the Lord can bring deliverance to both person and land that has been defiled and continues to be influenced by the enemy, freeing you up to grow and find true healing through Jesus. It will also explore the important topic of discernment, helping you navigate the possible snares of the enemy in the future.
DISCERNMENT-A DEFENCE AGAINST DECEPTION
We live in a time where moral and ethical standards are fluid and argued over by all sectors of society. Even in the Christian faith, there are a variety of voices, opinions, and lobbying for numerous versions of ‘truth’. To live in peace and security, we need to have a solid standard by which truth, behaviour, and belief are measured; this is the plumbline of God’s Word.
GOD'S DESIGN FOR SEXUALITY
There is much opportunity through generational iniquity, parental sin, abuse, and personal wrongdoing, for damage to occur in a person’s sexuality, causing a range of dysfunctions. Thankfully, God can restore the deepest places of inner wounding in our lives when we come to him in obedience to His ways.
ACCIDENT AND TRAUMA
Those who have suffered an accident may have received excellent medical care, but sometimes there is a lingering issue of disorder due to an inner unhealed place, which can only be fully restored by Jesus.
TEACHERS
The teaching is built on a solid biblical foundation and also draws from over 30 years of experience in ministering God’s healing love to those in need. The course will be overseen by Kent and Karen Bandy, directors of Ellel Ministries Canada who have many years of experience behind them. Alongside them will be a diverse team of experienced teachers who have a vast knowledge and understanding of the healing ministry.
